On Friday 24.02.2023 at 20:00 we will loudly dance through Oldenburg, starting at the train station, to take the space that is ours.
With a music box, good music and a lot of motivation to dance we will move through the station district past the “Rot-Schwarze-Ecke” to the inner city ring to take our displeasure to the street. But we are not only in a combative mood because the occupation of Bahnhofsstraße 23 was cleared by the police in such a short time and we were denied the free space we wanted to build up, but also because the vacancy in Oldenburg pisses us off. Because we don’t think it’s okay that people have to spend a large part of their income on housing, or don’t even get access to housing in the first place because of rising rents. This time we also do not only walk along the inner city ring, but also walk through the surrounding residential areas, to make as many people as possible aware of us and our demands.
We have come to disrupt, come to dance and to take the spaces that are rightfully ours.
